Call for Papers

We are looking for novel algorithms, theories, and applications related to knowledge graph learning. Each submitted paper will be evaluated by three reviewers from the aspects of novelty, significance, technique sound, experiments, and presentations. The reviewers will be program committee members or researchers recommended by the members. All papers submitted should have a maximum length of 8 pages (+ unlimited pages for references and appendix) and demo papers should be no more than 4 pages (+ unlimited pages for references and appendix). Authors are required to submit their papers electronically in PDF format. Authors' names should be included in the manuscripts. All must be prepared using the Microsoft Word template or LaTeX template to prepare your manuscript.
The workshop papers will not appear in the conference proceedings. However, we will invite ten workshop papers to submit extended versions to a special issue in Algorithms - MDPI, named Learning with Knowledge Graphs: Construction, Embedding, and Reasoning. There will be no publication fee for invited papers.

We are interested in (including but not limited to) topics as follows.
  • KG-enhanced web search

  • KG-based virtual assistant systems

  • Efficient graph neural networks tailored for KG embedding

  • Efficient contrastive learning models tailored for KG refinement, including KG completion and KG error detection

  • KG-based recommender systems

  • Theoretical analysis of and insights into KG reasoning

  • Effective KG construction algorithms dedicated to specific scenarios

  • Algorithms that bridge the gap between KG embedding and applications in various domains, such as recommendations, education, sports, and transportation

  • Important Dates

All deadlines are 11:59 PM Pacific Time

    First Round:
Workshop paper submissions: January 23, 2023
Workshop paper notifications: Feb 2, 2023

    Second Round:
Workshop paper submissions: Feb 6, 2023
Workshop paper notifications: Feb 10, 2023

    Registration for Workshop Presenters

At least one of the authors of the accepted papers must register for the WSDM 2023 conference under Single Day (Day 1 or Day 5) or Passport Registration (5-Day) by the Standard rate registration deadline of February 12, 2023 Singapore time. This requirement holds even if the presentation is virtual.
