Prof. Qing Li
The Hong Kong Polytechnic University
Qing Li is currently a Chair Professor (Data Science) and the Head of the Department of Computing, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Formerly, he was the founding Director of the Multimedia software Engineering Research Centre (MERC) and a Professor at City University of Hong Kong, where he worked in the Department of Computer Science from 1998 to 2018. He is a Fellow of IEEE, AAIA, and IET. He is the Chairperson of the Hong Kong Web Society, Vice President of the IEEE Computational Intelligence Hong Kong Chapter, and also served/is serving as an advisory committee and executive committee member of IEEE Hong Kong Computer Chapter and ACM Hong Kong Chapter. In addition, he is a councilor of the Database Society of the Chinese Computer Federation (CCF), a member of the Big Data Expert Committee of CCF, and is/was a Steering Committee member of DASFAA, ACM RecSys, IEEE UMEDIA, ICWL, and WISE Society.
Dr. Xiao Huang

Xiao Huang is an assistant professor in the Department of Computing at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He received Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Texas A&M University in 2020, M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology in 2015, and B.S. in Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2012. Before joining PolyU, he worked as a research intern at Microsoft Research and Baidu USA. His publications are well recognized by the community and have received over 2600 citations. He is a program committee member of ICLR 2022-2024, NeurIPS 2021-2023, AAAI 2021-2023, KDD 2019-2023, TheWebConf 2022-2023, ICML 2021-2023, IJCAI 2020-2023, CIKM 2019-2022, WSDM 2021-2023, SDM 2022, ICKG 2020-2021.
Dr. Xiang Wang
University of Science and Technology of China
Xiang Wang is a Professor in University of Science and Technology of China, where he is a member of Lab of Data Science. He strives to develop trustworthy deep learning and artificial intelligence algorithms with better interpretability, generalization, and robustness. His research interests include graph-structured applications in information retrieval (e.g., personalized recommendation), data mining (e.g., graph pre-training), security (e.g., fraud detection in fintech, information security in system), and multimedia (e.g., video question answering). He has over 50 publications in top-tier conferences and journals. Over 10 papers have been featured in the most cited and influential list (e.g., KDD 2019, SIGIR 2019, SIGIR 2020, SIGIR 2021) and best paper finalist (e.g., WWW 2021, CVPR 2022). He has served as the PC member for top-tier conferences including NeurIPS, ICLR, SIGIR and KDD, and the invited reviewer for prestigious journals including JMLR, TKDE, and TOIS.
Dr. Wen Hua

Wen Hua is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Computing at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She received her B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from Renmin University of China in 2010 and 2015, respectively. Before joining PolyU, she worked as a Senior Lecturer and a Senior Research Fellow (with the Australian Research Council Discovery Early Career Researcher Award) in the School of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering at the University of Queensland. Her publications are well recognized by the community and have received several Best Paper (Honourable Mention) Awards in international conferences in the fields of Database and Data Mining such as ICDE 2015, CIKM 2022, etc. She has served as PC Co-chair of ADC 2022, Track Co-chair of IEEE COINS 2022, Publication Co-chair of DSC 2019 and DASFAA 2017, Senior Program Committee Member of CIKM 2019-2022, as well as Program Committee Member of some international conferences such as PVLDB, ICDE, AAAI, etc.
Dr. Yixin Cao
Singapore Management University
Yixin Cao is an assistant professor with Singapore Management University. Before that, He was a research assistant professor of Nanyang Technology University. He also was a research fellow with NExT++, National University of Singapore (NUS). He received Ph.D. in Computer Science from Tsinghua University in 2018. His research areas span natural language processing, knowledge graph and recommendation. His current interests are in knowledge-patched LLMs. Various part of his work have been published in top conferences, such as ACL, EMNLP, COLING and WWW, which has received over 3,600 citations. Moreover, he has served as Senior Area Chair for AACL2022 and Area Chair for ACL2023, (Senior) PC members for conferences including EMNLP, NAACL, AAAI, IJCAI, and NeurIPs, and as reviewers for journals including TPAMI, and TKDE.
